Requesting Termination/Account Closure

If you would like to close your account:


Please contact us by email at [email protected] or by phone at +44 20 4586 7499 to begin the process, we may request the reason for termination to help improve our services. Our team will then complete the necessary checks before closure making sure to keep you updated during this process.

Once termination is complete:

  • You will receive a confirmation letter or email

  • You will receive instructions for returning any terminals

(please note terminated accounts cannot be reinstated)


Paynt Initiated Terminations

In some cases, accounts may be terminated without a request from you. If this occurs:

  • You will receive formal communication outlining the termination

  • A termination letter will be issued

  • Funds may be held for up to 180 days to cover the chargeback window

After the hold period ends, the account will be reviewed and any remaining funds will be released. During this window If a bank account change is required during this period, please reach out to the team, who will be happy to assist.
